As a DJ Cass has driven dancefloors worldwide and has performed at the Detroit Electronic Music/Movement Festival to the critical acclaim of his musical peers. More recognition of his contribution to dance music came when he was featured in the film documentary, ‘The Beat Is The Law’. In 1987, Cass produced his first platinum selling/certified record release as part of Krush: ‘House Arrest’ '. This hit number 3 in the UK' Top 40 chart. Then n 1992 saw Cass’ release as Krush, the seminal club classic ‘Walking on Sunshine’ released on the infamous ‘Network Records’. This was a massive club hit throughout the UK and is still regarded as a definitive of an era. Apart from his own original releases, Cass has produced and remixed for a range of artists including ‘Cathy Dennis’, ‘The Human League’, ‘The James Taylor Quartet’, ‘Night-Crawlers’ and ‘Dina Carroll’. Cass, under "The NG9 Project" alongside production partner “Nail Toliday” has had releases out on “Phil Asher” of “Restless Soul” "RSTLSS TRX" imprint, “Booker T's” "Liquid Deep Recordings" and “Phil Weeks” "Robsoul Recordings straight out of France." Cass' vast experience with his intimate knowledge of the many forms of electronic dance music, gives him a unique perspective enjoyed by very few. Cass-Roc is a true living legend, an unsung pioneer of a genre he helped define and still regarded one of the world’s finest DJ/producers.
