June 7th 17:00 - 01:00 | Craft Beer Week Launch @ Junkyard & Herbert and Kilpin


Showcasing 25 taps of Nottingham's finest and freshest beers across the yard, Junkyard and Herbert & Kilpin will kick off the Nottingham Craft Beer Week.

 


June 8th 11:00 - 23:00 | Detonate Festival @ Colwick Country Park


Starting way back in January 1999 as a local club night in Nottingham, Detonate has turned into a huge festival that continues to grow. Back for 2019, one of Nottingham’s most talked about events that you don’t want to miss out on.


The line up includes: DJ EZ / BUGZY MALONE / WILKINSON / HARDY CAPRIO / SHY FX / ANDY C / MY NU LENG / CHRIS LORENZO B2B REDLIGHT| ORIGIN ONE and plenty more.

 


June 8th 22:00 - 03:30 |Wabi-Sabi: Festival After Party @ Bar Eleven


As Nottingham prepares for one of its biggest days of the music calendar, after parties are also a must. Brought to you by the crew that’s hosted the likes of Dr. Oscillator, Samba, Mr C, B: Thorough, Bengal Sound, Ferguson, 9TRANE to name a few.


They’ll be hosting a night of underground genres including bassline, dubstep, drum & bass, jungle, grime, trap and more. Line up TBA.

 


June 8th - June 10th 11:00 - 20:00 | Black Magic - Craft Beer Exhibition @ Malt Cross


As part of Nottingham Craft Beer Week 2019, Malt Cross will present a free exhibition featuring the work of three craft beer-related artists; Richard Norgate, Kev Grey and Kelly Ann-Holmes. The exhibition will be held at the Henderson Gallery, which is located downstairs at the venue. It will be open from 11am to 8pm each day. Follow the signs in the main bar for details.

 


June 14th 19:00 - 02:00 | Subtone Society x Membrain Festival Launch Party @ Rough Trade


Membrain Festival celebrates its 4th year in 2019 and also boasts a brand new site in its home of Šibenik, Croatia.


The Subtone crew will be making the journey over to Croatia in August for their second appearance at Membrain Festival and thought it was only right to throw a launch party right here in Notts with a bunch of badass selectors!  

Line Up includes:

Take a step back in time to the historic Malt Cross caves where you will discover the wonderful, entertaining and downright tasty story of beer...


Join Malt Cross for a whistle-stop tour through the history of brewing and the cultural importance of this everyday tipple from our knowledgable Heritage Tasting Guides. Learn to tell your medieval gruit from homegrown ales and spend an evening tasting five different iconic styles of beer.

 


June 15th 18:00 - 21:00 | Women and Girls Skate Session @ Flo Skatepark 

Women and girls skate night, come and skate in a friendly atmosphere. Suitable for beginners, boards available to borrow if you don't have your own. Under 16's must wear a helmet. Free entry (donations to Flo Charitable Trust welcome)

June 15th 19:30 - 21:30 | Jamaii Maddix: Work In Progress @ The Angel Microbrewery


As seen on Live from the Apollo (BBC1), Hate Thy Neighbour (Viceland) and coming up in his own Channel 4 series, critically acclaimed comedian Jamali Maddix is working out material for his new show.


He might rely entirely on crowd work or pull out old routines from his tour or bring you some brand new material, all is yet to be revealed but make sure you don’t miss the chance to see something completely unfiltered.

We are pleased to be back bringing you the 7th edition of Mimm Secret Sessions where we seek out interesting spaces to put on raves and get creative, this time we take over a new space deep underneath Nottingham city centre and adventure in to some audio, visual & artistic delights.

 

 

June 16th 12:00 - 00:00 | Peach Fuzz x Kushi-ya @ Kushi-ya


It was about a year ago in a Lenton terrace that the first Peach Fuzz seeds were starting to be planted. To celebrate, Peach Fuzz are teaming up with Kushi-ya for a 12hr courtyard shindig on Sunday 16th June. Free entry all day and the ideal start to the summer. If you've been to a Peach Fuzz before then you know the drill, see you in the dance.

After the killer last edition of the Afro-House Sound, where the levels were extremely high, the next  event sees a resh new venue, later opening times and with a UV Party theme.


Showcasing the best in sounds of the Afro-House movement, expect a night of good vibes, body shakers and foot stompers.


Featuring sets from Dat Gruvee, TONES resident DJs, Truth & Lies Music, UV Face and Body painting from Laura Decorum and the tasty signature addition of Zimbo - TONES resident live Percussionist, performing in full force and increasing the jams.

June 27th 21:00 - 02:00 | Bru-C Birthday Bash 2.0 @ Bar Eleven

 

November 2016, Krudd was born in a 150 capacity venue in the centre of Nottingham. This June they’re taking it back in celebration of the founder’s birthday!

 

All attendees MUST be wearing an item of Krudd clothing to gain entry!

June 28th 18:00 - 22:00 | Street Art Festival @ Surface Gallery


Graffiti / Alternative/ Illustration / Paste‐Up / Graphics / Yarn Bombing / Sticker Tagging / Print / Lightbombing / Etc.

The Street Art Festival at Surface Gallery celebrates and supports Nottingham’s thriving alternative art scene by showcasing some of today’s best local, national, and international street art.

Up to six pieces can be submitted per person and all work will be hung salon style, packed from floor to ceiling. All submissions will be displayed as long as you can get them through the door. But please keep it on theme: keep it street; keep it urban.

The Launch Party will go down on Friday nightwith a DJ set from Stiff Kittens and some authentic Caribbean street food from the awesome Dumplin Shack.

We proudly present the first Street Food Weekender at Sneinton Market Avenues. On the 28th-29th June, we are pulling together some of the best street food traders in the UK, to present a weekend of quality food and drink, chilling beats, a craft market and local workshops, to offer a family friendly experience, which celebrates all the things that make Nottingham the vibrant city we love.
