TONES presents the biggest underground movements in DEEP | AFRO | TECH | HOUSE (D.A.T sounds). Also hosted by Box and Lewis Walker, the line up includes Guest/Resident TONES DJ's alongside bookings.

12th April 20:00 | 90’s Hip Hop Classics @ Broadway Cinema
Skateboarding breathes a strong culture of sociable and creative minded individuals.
The anticipated Mid90’s film directed by Jonah Hill debut’s on Friday evening at The Broadway. The film follows a teenage boy who finds his scene when he meets a group of skateboarders. Broadway will be hosting a mix of 90’s Hip Hop classics following the film in the Cafe Bar to mark the first showing.
12th April 2100 - 0300 | No Fate - Multi Genre Electronica @ The Angel Microbrewery
In a stand up against socio economic situations, the best local DJ’s are welcoming you into an eclectic night of genres.
Electro, Techno, Acid House, DnB, Breaks and Bass are set to come together in unity for this gathering that submerse you in all time classics from Chase & Status, Goldie, Fatboy Slim, Xpress 2, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, 808 State and more; alongside fresh experimental electronics.
The juxtaposition of visuals on multiple screens, lasers and lighting from Skylabb inside the setting of a 16th century chapel will set an immersive experience for you to lose yourself in until the early hours.
13th -26th April | A Multitude of Sins @ Surface Gallery
The Surface Gallery houses an eclectic mix of artists in their studio spaces above the exhibition hall. A Multitude of Sins will present the diverse styles of the in house artists to capture the mood of both old and new creatives.
An exploration into figurative painting, 3D mixed media and printmaking will create an array of visuals. Stimulating the mind further are the themes of poetry, ritual, fetish, religious iconography and more.
This is set to be a wonderful celebration of local Nottingham artists consisting of Georgia Fry, Gerry Henegan Barr, Lena Eriksson, Paul Henegan, Ashley Alldread, Melvin James, Peter Lumley, Olivia Wileman.

13th April 0900 - 1600 | Records, Dubplates and Radio Day @ The Carousel
Hosted by The Carousel, Plates and City Beat Radio is this independent celebration of records in all forms, including new and second hand. The event will be accompanies by City Beat DJ's and live broadcasts throughout the day along with an exclusive selection of dubplates from local artists.
Records will also be for sale down at FourFour DJ Academy with Wigflex from 1400 at their free RSD Loft Party also hosted by Soul Buggin', Toe Szyslak, The Waves and Quake.

This open turntable event invites all abilities to come down to this tutorial event. Anyone looking to try the artform are welcome, turntables will be available to use or feel free to bring your own portable equipment.
Hosted by Skratcher with a guest appearance from DJ Rasp - 8 British DJ Titles (DMC and IDA champion), meet up, share ideas and develop the art of turntablism.
17th April 1900 - 0000 | Acoustic Rave ii - Showhawk Duo @ The Maze
A tasteful experiment in trance anthems which will be unlike anything you’ve heard of before. This is an incredible way to spend a Wednesday evening, to fill your thirst for house, trance dance music whilst simultaneously winding down with the surrounding sounds of acoustic guitars.

24th April 1930 - 2300 | Ruby Rushton & Quake DJ’s @ The Chameleon
2019 see’s jazz quartet Ruby Rushton pushing boundaries and defying genres in their latest album. Taking inspiration from spiritual concepts of jazz roots and heroes such as John Coltrane and Yusef Lateef, the quartet further mix in influences from afrobeat, hip-hop and the UK underground culture.
Multi-instrumentalist and 22a Records founder, Tenderlonious, will lead the spectacle of energy and musical precision. This evening is going to be an exploration into a wide range of instruments and genres and will let the audience know exactly why the jazz scene is on point right now.

Environmental topics must be addressed in order to change the way that we think and to help save our planet Earth. This exhibition from Steegman is a beautiful scene that will resonate in anyone and everyone, so if you haven’t already been down to see it...
Steegman has created a truly thought provoking display that questions Western perceptions on nature and how the complex environment of Mata Atlantica has been subjected to ecological, geographical, economic, scientific, historical and territorial pressures.
Through showcasing new and existing works, Steegman explores an immersive movement through the use of virtual reality, architectural interventions and more, in a refreshing exhibit of how these mediums and technologies can represent the aspects of the rain forest.
